Just a one night stop at anchor in Potamos Bay on Chalki (pronounced Halki) after sailing south for about 11 miles and motoring the other 11. Interestingly we had a northwesterly as we went south, and as we rounded the island of Chalki the wind was from the southeast.
The main town on Chalki was a short walk away, and unlike most Greek ports, had a limited promenade round the harbour, instead, houses, mainly holiday homes we suspect had their own piece of harbour frontage and their own ladder into the water. All in all very different and picturesque.
So this is as far south as we intend going, the next island to our south being Rhodes and not particularly yacht friendly with a couple of big overcrowded harbours and limited anchorages.
