So a couple of days in Pothia (the Greek name for Kalymnos Town) to do a bit of laundry and sightseeing. First of all to the monastery overlooking the harbour, although we stopped slightly short and only visited the church and large cross as it was getting dark, but some marvellous views down on the Town. Then Friday morning a walk to the castle ruins and three restored windmills followed by a tour of the town on the land train. Usually these ‘trains’ are a great way of getting a quick overview of a place, but ultimately we had already seen what was on offer. So a final stock up with fruit, vegetables, meat and bread and we were on our way in the building winds.
