But at least the harbour wall had taps, so we were able to fill up the water tanks, and with a floating pontoon we had the luxury of a side on mooring for the night (both wall and pontoon were €15 a night).
Before dinner we took a walk to the very friendly Taverna Agrapidos up many steps through their pretty flower planted pathway with impressive views overlooking the town and harbour. Someone was a keen gardener, there was a bunch of roses in a vase on every table. We walked back via the gentle slope of the road back through Poros village.
And after dinner (on board) we had a drink and ice-cream, (despite the weather still being cool) at a very unassuming bar at the end of the harbour only to discover that it’s bar was beautifully crafted between rocks down to the water’s edge. In fact I had that deja vue moment when I realised I had been here at The Remetzo Bar 7 years earlier in 2016, skippering a flotilla boat on holiday with Fern and her friends.
Off further south in the morning.
