Day 129 and 130 Port Miou

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September

Having moored up in both a beautiful and well sheltered calanque (creek), we decided to stop for a couple of nights and then for a third and for the first time this trip actually pumped up the tender to get us ashore. On Sunday we walked to the lovely town of Cassis, lay on a very crowded beach for a while, explored the town then walked back via the 1km length of the creek on an elevated and wobbly board walk.
The 3 nights were made more pleasant by virtue of the fact that we did not pay! The Captainaire did turn up Sunday morning and said he would be back shortly but 4 hours later he had still not reappeared and on Monday morning we gave him every opportunity to catch us by leaving after 10.
