This is where we bought our motorhome and had booked it in to have some very minor ‘snags’ fixed, such as a sticky blind, a cracked battery cover door and the inner frame of the garage door coming away from the door. And what a great stop despite being only a stone’s throw from the A1. Firstly the stop was free (a big tick), a free meal when we arrived (via a voucher), all facilities including showers, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna (although the sauna was unfortunately closed), and a short cycle ride into historic Newark with its old castle, the River Trent with a lock, and a beautiful market square. A really great free stop.
