After the bustle of Poros, we opted for a bit of tranquility for 3 nights in a small bay on the north east coast of Poros island (Navily calls it Shoebill Bay). This was our first anchorage with long stern lines ashore. With the light wind in the right direction, blowing us towards the shore, it went perfectly, and surprisingly the sea was warm. On occasions we had the bay to ourselves, with just a few goats on the beach keeping us company. Also having stocked up on fresh pork chops and pork belly rashers, it was great to get the Cobb oven going on the back of the boat.
