As usual what little wind we had, was on the bow, so another short passage to Kioni, with the option of going on to Big Vathi if the quay was full. Fortunately it wasn’t, so another perfect stern to mooring, dropping the anchor (well there was no wind and lots of space!).
A restful couple of days, including a walk up the hill to a pretty shop/cafe, we’ve visited before, for Greek coffees. When the old lady served them she also brought us a bottle of cool water and a plate of lovely orange biscuits. On leaving we looked around the shop for something to buy and saw a piece of white nougat like cake, halva, made with ground up sesame seeds.
We also caught up with Kev and Mandy (last seen in Vonitsa) enjoying a drink on board Chinano, also with Kev’s daughter and friend. No one is swimming yet but the few that are appear to be invigorated.
