With strong North Easterly winds forecast for Thursday, we decided to stay anchored here for a few days, again like Sarakiniko Bay, a beautiful beach with clear (cold!) blue water.
Tuesday, suffering from cabin fever we went ashore and walked the 3 miles to Elafonisos village at the north end of the island, visiting the church, had a sandwich for lunch and walked the 3 miles back, passing a myriad of herbs growing en route.
And a lovely surprise when we got back, Muskrat had anchored next to us, so the opportunity to catch up over drink(s) with Chris and Alison from Weymouth’s Castle Cove Sailing Club!
