We anchored off Nidri for a couple of hours to buy some bread and meat and then anchored in the calm of Vliho Bay for 2 nights, and of course took advantage of Sunday roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, carrots, green beans, gravy, horse radish sauce 👍👍…… at the Vliho Yacht club and Monday morning breakfast, a Greek “English” at Elena’s taverna across the other side of the bay.
The stop was also the opportunity to clean the outboard carburetor yet again and this time try fresh petrol, but with only a slight improvement in its running. Having bought some cheap Chinese clothes in Agrinio Ann soon discovered the sewing standard was a little lacking. She spent four hours finishing off the hems of 2 dresses.
