Well we made it, summer has begun! A good relaxing start following an overnight at the Gatwick Premier Inn and a lunchtime flight. As expected, Easyjet are unable to run to time so we arrived in Aktion about 90mins late, but we are here. Again as expected, the 1 km taxi from the airport to Jacana cost us a rip off 15euro, but the alternative would have been a dusty walk pulling a 24kg bag with a dodgy wheel, but at least the driver was able to drop us off literally under the bow of Jacana. And time for a meal of lovely beef stew at the Panis taverna.
This weekend is the Greek Easter festival, so provisioning is problematic, and the marina shop and tavernas are closed on Sunday but I’m sure we’ll survive on corned beef and pasta!
So on with the jobs, under the almost cloudless sky and low twenty’s temperature.
