Sunday 26th to Thursday 30th September Velcro Bay and Sivota

David and Yvonne left us in Preveza at 0930, so a chance to drop off the laundry on a side street a few yards from Jacana and collect it cleaner an hour or so later. By 1 o’clock we were on our way south again, this time, with the washing drying from every rope available to Vliho (velcro) bay for our last of the season Sunday roast at the Yacht club.
Onwards on Monday to Sivota where partially by chance we were able to catch up with Gwen and Pete and Rob and Lizzie for a couple of nights before we return to the UK next week, and totally by chance with Monica and Steve from Castle Cove who were on a flotilla sailing holiday with some friends.
We moored at the Ionian Taverna where we were obliged to accept the owner, Yannis’ hospitality serving excellent fish (dorado was very good!), although on Tuesday morning we joined Monica and Steve and their crew for breakfast on the other side of Sivota Harbour before they went onward to Ithaca.
On Wednesday, Gwen and Pete and Rob and Lizzie left and we were able to recover a bit from the previous two day’s excesses.
