At least last Thursday morning was OK weather wise when Dimitris came on board to discuss a solar panel and davit gantry where based on his experience was able to give us an acceptable price. The down side is that his workshop is in Cleopatra’s yard. So over the past couple of days we’ve booked winter storage there, with the consequence that we still need to get back to Corfu to pickup a (hopefully) repaired winter cover and then back to Cleopatra’s to be lifted out on Tuesday 29th September. So today we start heading north and after saying our winter farewells to Gwen and Pete we made the short hop to Preveza, tying up stern to, with an anchor drop on the town Quay. (And it’s free!) Here we bumped into Rob and Lizzie, so more farewells over a couple of beers.
