Sunday 6th to Monday 7th October
With the Mistral gusting to over 40 knots we have no choice but to stay here until it calms down on Tuesday. On the Sunday we took our bikes on the train to the lovely town of Martigues, (pronounced Marteek) which with its canals is often described as Little Venice. Spot the wreck. A televised rowing competition kept us entertained for a while. There were crowds of people and a great atmosphere. Also Sunday was market day. We ended our tour with a great cup of coffee sat in a café….. on deck chairs!
