Sunday 15th September
After a quick row ashore in the tender to shower and buy bread, we slipped the mooring buoy about midday and tacked eastward into the 15-18kt wind and 15nm to the next island in the Hydras Isles, Ile de Port Cros, specifically a reasonably sheltered bat at the Eastern end called Port Man. Apparently during the high season its not unusual for 75 boats to be anchored, fortunately, as we move out of season, there were only about a dozen. We were greated by a dolphin playing with a floating boat boundary rope. After a bit of snorkeling and dinner, as the wind dropped we settled down for an anticipated peaceful night at anchor.
And, with just one bottle of beer left and no wine, tomorrow we plan to stop on the mainland!
