The final section of the Saone today, before it joins the Rhone in Lyon, and the final 4 metre drop Saone lock which was actually ready to receive us when we got there. We arrived at Lyon marina at about noon which sits in a regenerated part of the city, just south of the centre at the confluence of the Rhone and Soane. And a fairly modest €19 a night including all facilities. We're booked in for 4 nights with Fern and Sean turning up tomorrow evening.
