Wednesday 17th July
Just another 7 locks today, with just 2 to do before we start our descent, but they came fast, covering a mere 4 (nautical) miles. Arriving in Langres at lunchtime, we were forced to take the last place available, infested with thick weed, next to a sad looking abandoned catamaran. The weed was so thick that the best we could do was 2 feet from the wall. But hey ho, it's free, with water and electricity, although the electricity is only available for 3 hours a day! But better than nothing, as it will keep the batteries charged hopefully. Langres is the last decent stopping place for the next week, so we've decided to stay and explore the city for a few days.
