Thursday 13th to Friday 21 June
Well we originally planned to stay for 3 nights, but the attraction of Paris resulted in us staying for a very pleasant 10. And at about £35 a night, including electricity and showers, what a bargain, being only 5 mins walk from Bastille metro station and 10 min from Notre-Dame Cathedral.
We did some of the usual tourist things, fighting the crowds and queues to see Palace of Versailles, Basilica Sacré-Cœur Montmartre, Musée D'Orsay and Saint Chapelle together with a music festival of very dubious quality on midsummer's night. Overall a great place to stop.
