Thursday and Friday
Finally a couple of rest days. On Thursday got the bikes out and replenished at the supermarket over a mile away and the afternoon explored the delightful architecture and sites of Rouen including a ride on a tourist train up and down its very narrow streets. A very impressive fireworks display was put on by the Armada in the evening although Storm Miguel put paid to our Friday plans to visit the nearby Armada site, with its high winds and very heavy downpours, so much so that the evening concert and fireworks were cancelled.
