A moderate 16 miles and 3 lock systems, taking us from sea, to fresh and back to sea water, along very busy barge routes. One barge had over 100 containers on board, that's a lot of lorries off the road. Again very featureless and very wide waterways.
However, turning just a quarter of a mile off the main channel has brought us into the heart of Willemstad one of the octagon fortified cities. Yes a city apparently, yet with a population of less than 2500. So moored up on the Quay a few yards from the 'city' nightlife. So loud you can hear a pin drop!
What's more, so far it appears to be free, and with electricity.
