We would have tried for Fecamp today, but it was blowing 20 – 25 knots from the west, exactly the direction we needed to go. So a last minute change of plan and only 13 miles motoring directly into the wind for 2 1/2 hours to Dieppe. Why not sail? we just didn't fancy it, considering it would have taken a lot longer.
Arriving in Dieppe early afternoon gave us the opportunity to have a good look around, and well worth a longer visit one day. The marina is modern, cheap, and BIG, with a good 10 minute walk to the showers. And this is the first time anyone has asked to see the boat papers.
