Yet another mixed sailing day, starting off by trying to race a German 60′ yacht out of Isidhorou, we naturally didn’t stand a chance, but at least we sailed for a while. Then motored the remaining 10 miles in near calm conditions to a bay the pilot book said was a safe and beautiful anchorage, however when we got there it was full of fish farm boats on moorings with little remaining space to anchor. So plan B, a couple of miles north to a little bay just south of Galixidi, where apart from a few people swimming from the beach we had the bay to ourselves.
It really is getting hot now (39°), so the opportunity to swim from the back of the boat was very welcome.
