We needed a few days away from charter boats, shouting and incompetent skippers (not that we’re always perfect), so Friday night we anchored in a sheltered bay behind Perdika. Saturday we moved to the island of Agistri to anchor in shelter of Dragonera bay halfway down its West coast, walking on Sunday for lunch to the village of Megalochori. At about 6pm the wind changed direction and so we initially planned to anchor on the eastern side, but with disturbed seas this was not a sensible option, so instead tucked in to the lee of Dorousa island on the SW corner of Agistri with long shore lines attached to rocks. Fortunately when we dropped anchor, it was dead calm and the shore lines were fixed with ease, the first of the season and probably not the last . However the calm didn’t last for long and the winds picked up a bit causing a sloppy sea, but worse was a super yacht playing loud music (with ads!) until well into the morning. So another day here with light winds, very calm water and no super yacht!
