We’d been loitering around North Itheka in preparation for a week with Clive and Pippa, picking them up from Vasiliki on Lefkada with nights in Sivota, Big Vathi, Kastos, Kalamos, Port Athini on Meganisi, Palairos, and finally Lefkas. What a great week, excellent company, some excellent sailing and minutes after Pippa commented that she was slightly disappointed not to see any dolphins, we encountered mother and baby for 10mins round the bow as we headed from Palairos.
