A couple more nights of relaxation in the relatively safe Vliho Bay, and guess what, its Sunday!, so roast pork at the Vliho Yacht club. The outboard engine has still been running very poorly so a third attempt at cleaning the carb. However when I started taking the carb off, I noticed no gasket between the carb and the engine, then I noticed it laying in the bottom of the engine cover. Rookie error! Put it back together and it now runs perfectly! Then on Monday to Little Vathi via the fuel station just north of Nidri where we topped the tanks with 145l of diesel at a whopping cost of €330 and moored up roughly where we tied up last time in Vathi, at least that was free. As it cooled in the evening we actually got the bikes out and went for a very pleasant ride round into the next bay and back into Vathi, oh and we had to stop for a refreshing cocktail on the way back.
