With lift out scheduled for 10.30, we slipped Preveza marina, refuelled, and motored the mile across to Cleopatra. Did it rain! Within 5mins of leaving the fuel berth we were soaked. The rain didn’t stop the guys at Cleopatra’s however and the lift out happened on time. As she was lifted the rain stopped to reveal blue skies again.
So after a total of 1420 nautical miles, our 2020 voyage had come to an end, and Jacana was on dry(ish) land again.
So over the next few days we’ll put Jacana to bed, head back home via Port NapolĂ©on to pick up the car, drive through France and lock ourselves away for 2 weeks.
