Back up to the top of Meganisi to a small, very clear-water bay just south of Port Athini. No need to snorkel here – you can see the fish clear as anything. Although there were a couple of yachts swinging at anchor when we arrived, we decided to try out our new 50m shore lines and experienced a sublimely quiet night being the only boat there and glimpsing shooting stars and gazing into the milky way. Next morning however, boats started arriving and we eventually gave up and decided to move on when a 50ft yacht full of young Italians anchored next to us playing music at full blast. Would’ve been fine but the music was terrible!
