With potential strong winds forecast again for Friday night we decided we would anchor here again tonight. Before this we decided to get out of the bay for a while and sail down to Sivota to see how crowded it gets and try to work out where the town quay is. So a motor round Sivota and back up the channel via a lunch anchor stop at the southern end of Thilia, just off Meganisi. We ‘tuned into’ the Castle Cove Sailing Club webcam and watched the award ‘ceremony’ of Ladies Sailing’s Joe Issac trophy.
Next day we heard that friends of ours had been hit with a 50 knot gust less than 10 miles away.
