Anchored in the well sheltered Vliho Bay for the night. Except apparently, this enclosed and at first sight well sheltered Bay, is also known as tornado alley! We’ve yet to find out why, although the pilot book does document an horrific September storm in 2011 when several boats were sunk. Hopefully not tonight! (Although we did notice a few clouds in the sky before sunset) Watch this space.
First night was totally restful so decided to stay for a second, not before a run ashore to Taverna Elena to book a table for dinner and walk to the small church opposite Nidri, via Tranquility Bay.
