We need a Corfu marina on Friday morning to get to the immigration police, so tried to book into Mandraki, but full so ended up in Gouvia again. After a good sail across from the mainland we filled up with fuel and experienced a challenging stern to mooring in a marina pontoon with a 20kt crosswind. Lesson learned – go in bow first or get a boat with a powerful bow thruster! We did eventually get in stern to, but only after we’d gone diagonally across the space for 2 boats. No damage done though.
