With 50 miles to go today, we managed an early (for us) 0715 start, motoring in a totally flat and windless sea. It picked up however at about 11 giving us a fairly swift sail for the remainder of the day, arriving in Capo d’Anzio at 1630, and after getting permission from the harbour master to enter the inner harbour and moor up stern to with the help of a chap from the marina adjacent to several restaurants. At 65€ for a night, things are beginning to get expensive!
