Finally managed a decent sail for probably two thirds of the 40 miles crossing to the Italian mainland, to anchor for the fourth consecutive night just outside the harbour at Santa Marinello. We toyed with the idea of a run ashore, but in the end, decided to stay on board. From the boat, the nearest beach backed onto several very large houses, each with their own private beach, with no public access for us to get into town. There was access further along but we thought we’d just chill on board, enjoy a meal and a glass or two of wine.
