Day 160 Sausset-les-Pins to Port Napoleon

Tuesday 8th October

This is it, our final day of sailing for the year, unfortunately no wind, so a gentle motor 14 miles to the marina at Port Napoleon via a quiet lunch anchorage at Anse de Bonnieu. Here we watched snorkelers and the odd swimmer, but didn't venture in as there was some unrecognisable floating debris and you could see a thick line of air pollution on the industrial horizon which we smelt as soon as we arrived in the bay.
We arrived in Port Napoleon and it was great to get a mooring next to our American friends Pat and Dave on Charisma. They finally caught up with us! They had been stranded in Meaux on the river Marne waiting for a new gear box for 40 days.
