Decided to have a day off in La Ciotat to do a bit of snorkeling in a beautiful bay just round the corner from the harbour, and visit the Parc du Mugel, where in addition to many tropical plants, the highlight being an unusual geological outcrop called 'the eagle's beak' comprised 'agglomerate' with embedded large beach pebbles. Wind and sea erosion has left some interesting features.
