We decided to spend an extra day, rather than rushing the victualling, which also gave us an opportunity to get the bikes out and cycle a few very pleasant miles round the bay, and sort out the heads. For weeks I've been putting off changing the joker valve, but things have been getting worse, with the toilet bowl back filling with sea water at best, and holding tank contents at worse. So donned with rubber gloves, lots of paper towelling and a screw driver I bit the bullet (not literally!) and changed it. All done in about 10 mins and not as bad as I expected, although it must be someone else's turn next time!
