Day 127 A windy day in Marseille

Thursday 5th September

The Mistral is confining us to harbour, but it was forecast so no great surprise, and a chance to do some touristy things and restock. The highlight was the 'Petit Train' up to the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica perched up over 140m on a rock outcrop.
While sitting on the boat later we saw wind gusts of over 40 knots, and that's in the shelter of the harbour. It should calm down though overnight to allow us to move on.
