Wednesday 4th September
After an accidental dunk in the marina trying to free a seized mooring line we left Port Napoleon, out through the Golfe de Fos we finally entered the Mediterranean Sea proper! Typically it was a windless day so we motored the 25 miles, past the Iles du Frioul into the old harbour of Marseille and the CNTL yacht club. Our first stern to mooring with 2 lazy lines which we negotiated perfectly! (probably due to no wind). So a leasurely walk round the vast old harbour before dinner, which apparently accommodates 3000 boats.
