Monday 5th August
Only 10km to a quiet stop just up a disused canal off the river, except it wasn't very quiet with a jamming jazz/brass band playing at what looked like a private party at a nearby restaurant. Also once it had cooled down a bit we took a quick cycle ride into Thoissey to check out the morning bakery facilities. Definitely in the very slow lane for the next few days to Lyon.
