Brilliant news that Fern and Sean are going to visit in Lyon in 8 days time, so we can take the 73km to Lyon at a very leasurely pace. 10km South of Macon we tie up at Crêches-sur-Saône and after lunch on board we enjoyed a beer listening to yet another live band (not so good this time) literally feet from the pontoon. Still quite warm so we had a swim off the end of the boat in the river to cool down.
