Saturday 27th July
After yesterday's temperature of 38°, today was much cooler with threatening dark clouds in the sky, in fact with the very very heavy rain for the first couple of hours down the river, it was very cold. 2 locks later (they're getting bigger, and the second one needed contact via vhf) we arrived at the lovely old town of Seurre. And like St Dizier a few Saturday evenings ago, this also had a band playing in the town centre, playing largely 70s English rock music. Again it was brilliant, with an audience ranging from 3 to about 83 years old!
