With virtually no stopping places, we decided to break the back of the remainder of the Canal Entre Champagne et Bourgogne with an earlyish start, so managed 17 locks over a distance of 34 km, with just 4 locks tomorrow before we reach the Saone. We’ve moored up on a desolate concrete quay, with no other boats. However, things are looking up as we do at least get a phone signal and Google suggests that the nearby village has a boulangerie! What more do we need.
