We managed a slow sail across to Kos, although had to motor the last 3 miles as we rounded the south eastern headland. With the wind howling through Kos marina, the Marino with the aid of his rib tied to our bow, skillfully guided us stern to onto a pontoon. So an expensive couple of nights (€150), but the opportunity to have a decent shower or two, restock and see a bit of the bustle of a very touristy Kos town. A particular highlight was a meatfeast at a backstreet rotisserie restaurant where succulent pork was sufficient for two days.
