After the noisy town quay of Lakki, Greek youths racing on motorbikes and honking car horns and chatting loudly till 2am, we needed somewhere a bit quieter. So we anchored off Alinda on the east coast of Leros, sheltered from the northerlies for a couple of nights. Although we didn’t walk round to Leros Castle (a bit too far) we did walk round to Agia Marina, (museum and folklore in Bellinis Tower was shut) to a bustling ferry port on the other side of the bay, stopping on the way back for a coffee, oh, and as it was lunch time, a plate of fried zucchini and a plate of fried potatoes (aka chips).
