Back on the road (river) today with a fairly early start as we've been led to believe that we can only pass the Armada site between 7 and 9. It's still pretty windy and very cold, probably colder than home. A few photos later (not sure what all the fuss is about?) of the Armada ships we head out of Rouen upstream and against the tide, through pretty countryside towards Poses. As we enter Poses, we come across the first Seine River lock, which very quickly and turbulently raises us about 10 meters to a river now much more tranquil and without tides. We moor up in a back water against a wall where the only sounds are birds!
